The new Seeing and Hearing Speech CD-ROM brings to lipreading training an important feature missing from picture books, films and videotapes: true interactivity. Users are not forced to follow a single path through the material; even users with no computer experience can easily explore the large, rich variety of lessons, talkers and speech examples. Exploration is easy, because the computer is tireless, and users do not have to wind or rewind tapes to find or repeat lessons or exercises.
